Barrie Gordon Is Published In The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who

Throughout his brilliant professional career, Mr. Gordon has routinely demonstrated the passion, vision and perseverance necessary to be considered among the best.
Mr. Gordon worked in the stock and station field for 30 years, beginning as a junior clerk with Dalgety and Company in 1944. During that time, he made his way up the ranks, holding the positions of stock agent, senior auctioneer, and livestock manager. Barrie then naturally worked his way into farming, running a farm in Whangara and serving as a Partner in the Tokomaru Bay area.
Barrie is now a freelance rural journalist, who began his career in journalism with New Zealand Farmer in 1989. Mr. Gordon has written articles for The New Zealand Farmers Weekly since its inception and has served as a contributor to Country-Wide for several years. He has also been a market reporter for The Gisborne Herald and The Wairoa Star as well as on the local segment of Newstalk ZB and Radio Ngati Porou. In addition, Barrie authored the humorous and whimsical book, Shut the Bloody Gate, which is a mix of history, futuristic thinking, and a glimpse at the interesting character that is Barrie Gordon.
