As a Nation Remembers, DeBrie Reflects on America's Complexities
Author sits for frank talk about the state of his worlds.
ROANOKE, VA, August 30, 2009 /Publications PR News/ -- In the eight years since attacks on American soil, we've added national security to our list of perils. For a while, says author Chris DeBrie, the grievances against our neighbors seemed secondary to a faraway threat. But older obstacles are still here, subtle and just below the surface, waiting to be prodded. DeBrie, who doesn't shy from writing on the toughest subjects, is scheduled for a prime-time interview on Wednesday, September 2 at 9 PM (EST).
ArtistFirst Radio Network's Tony Kay will interview DeBrie, live, discussing his working style, background, and influences. The show will be archived on Chris DeBrie's site. Find the author on Facebook.
DeBrie's latest novel, Shakespeare Ashes, is a raw tale of young adults navigating the real world. His stories touch many of America's sore spots, including gender, race, and sex. Listen to the writer who Inside Scoop Live introduces as "a hybrid between a coroner and a social anthropologist."
