WINSTON-SALEM, NC, October 9, 2008 /Publications PR News/ -- Ray C. Cates, Instructor and Business Manager for Forsyth Industrial Education Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of operations management.
A 13-year veteran of business operations management, Mr. Cates is responsible for bookkeeping and promoting industrial education. Prior to assuming his current position, he served as the acting president of the school, worked for the governor of North Carolina for two years, and served in the United States Army. He has been honored with the Year of Service Award by his local fire department. He considers the impact he has created on students' lives to be the most fulfilling aspect of his career.
Mr. Cates holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, and is affiliated with Kappa Phi Kappa. In his spare time, he volunteers with the building committees of his local church.
