Newark, NJ, September 14, 2008, Pastor Veronice Horne, Founder and Executive Director of In The Hands of A Woman Ministry, Inc. has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of community services.
Pastor Horne is proud to have dedicated her life to serving women in need. As part of the ministry's "Hand-up" program, she provides food, shelter and clothing to homeless women as well as offering tools and counseling to help them regain order and purpose in their lives. In addition, she works with resource centers to promote outreach programs. She considers establishing the ministry in 1998 to be the highlight of her career. Pastor Horne completed coursework in pastoral studies through the Holy Hands Worship Center, Inc. in 2004. She is an advocate for patients in New Jersey nursing homes and is on the board of directors for the Goodwill Rescue Mission.
