Aspiring Arts Publishing Recruits Writers for 'Small Talk'
New Dallas-based publishing company labeled as the 'home for aspiring writers' seeking submissions for upcoming anthology.
/Publications PR News/ - DALLAS, TX, July 26, 2008 - For many aspiring writers, the dream of having their work published never becomes a reality, but Dallas-based Aspiring Arts Publishing hopes to change that trend. Currently accepting submissions for its first anthology, Small Talk Volume 1: For the Love of It, the company will make several writers� dreams come true this holiday season. Launched to discover, groom and showcase new and emerging talent, Aspiring Arts Publishing hopes to open doors for authors that have been closed by larger companies.
"I've met so many people who want to have their work published, but they're unsure of whether they have what it takes or they aren't plugged into the industry and they are intimidated by the process," said Anthony Greer, founder of Aspiring Arts Publishing, and author of the new book, The Basics of Money. "I launched Aspiring Arts so that authors at all stages of their career have a place to send their work to and have a greater chance of seeing their work in print."
Aspiring Arts Publishing welcomes writers of all experience levels and in all genres to submit their work for Small Talk Volume 1: For the Love of It. Submissions should be between 5000-7000 words and should be sent in by August 29th. Each writer selected to participate will receive a publishing contribution contract.
In addition to submissions for its first anthology, Aspiring Arts Publishing is also actively searching for contemporary and urban fiction, young adult/teen/tween fiction and non-fiction. The company plans to publish three titles each year, along with one anthology of short stories and one anthology of poems annually. The company's first novel is scheduled for release in Spring 2009.
